HEC and USAID commence Student & Faculty Exchange Programme

Jointly working to bring new opportunities for students

National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad held a send-off and reception for the students and faculty members who have been selected to Tour abroad for one semester under Study Exchange Programme. The officials from United States Agency for International Development and Higher Education Commission, Pakistan attended the event.

The event was organized for over a dozen students and faculty members who are traveling for study purpose. In the coming 4 years, almost 200 students and faculty members from UET Peshawar and NUST will be sent to United States under same programme.

The students and Faculty members both will spend almost six months in Arizona State University where they will try to enhance their respective capabilities. The students will be able to learn new research techniques at State of Art Laboratories, UOA and faculty members will be able to polish teaching and corporate-partnership expertise.

These study exchange programme are a joint venture of NUST, UET and UOA and are co-ordinated by US-Pakistan Centers for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E). USPCAS-E is working for organizing these kinds of programmes which will help Pakistan in solving its Energy Crises.
